Shop updates and inventory:
Shop updates will happen a handful of times a year, with a new collection every time that's a mixture of already-seen designs and new designs inspired by the current season. Sugarpine Pottery is a one-woman part-time operation and pottery is a slow art... I so appreciate your patience! Follow along on Instagram or join my email list (scroll to the bottom of the page) for updates on collection drops and shop updates.

Can I pre-order? Do you take custom orders?
Not at this time, sorry. I do hope to find a way to incorporate them in the future.

Is Sugarpine Pottery food safe?
Always! My pottery is functional and meant to be used and loved. I want it to be a part of your daily life. All pieces are fully food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe unless a listing specifically says otherwise. For longest life, I'd still recommend the top rack of the dishwasher (or handwashing) and avoiding sudden temperature changes (like popping a cold mug straight into a hot oven).

Where do you ship?
Currently shipping to the United States and to Canada. I hope to expand shipping locations down the road once there is more clarity around the new EU packaging regulations.

How is my order packed?
I take great care in packaging my pottery to survive even the toughest journey and I use eco-friendly packing materials wherever I can. The packing peanuts in your order are made of starch and will dissolve in water (or you can compost them).

Do you offer returns or exchanges?
No -- handmade pieces are made with a lot of care and take a lot of time, and all items are final sale. However, if your item arrives damaged from shipping, see below.

What if my item arrives broken?
This hasn't happened yet and fingers crossed it never does... but, if it does:
If your piece arrives damaged, please email me immediately at sugarpinepots@gmail.com or by replying to your order confirmation. Include a photo of the item and the box it came in, and we will figure out a resolution.

Will my piece look exactly like the photo?
Handmade means one of a kind! Your piece will be the same design as the photo, but no two pieces are exactly alike. Since they are wheel-thrown, hand-carved, and hand-painted, there are minor variations in glaze, size, and carving/detail. Every piece is made with thought and care, and that uniqueness is what makes your mug truly yours!

Can I pick my order up?
If you're local to Port Townsend (or somewhere in Western Washington and just want a scenic drive), local pickup is an option. Just check out as usual, then send me an email to arrange pickup details. I'll refund your shipping once we've connected.
